Per request of Laura Bush, seven
woodcarvers from Massachusetts were asked to carve Christmas Ornaments
for the White House Christmas Tree. She requested that the ornaments be
of birds that are indigenous to the State of Massachusetts. Only seven
(7) ornaments would be accepted. Robert Anderson, was one of the
seven carvers that was asked to make a woodcarving ornament and received
an official invitation from Laura Bush to attend a reception at the White
House on Dec.4th to view their ornaments on the tree. |
